SUPPER LAB
Terms of Use
Last updated: November 8, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
These terms apply to your use of Supper Lab and its learning materials. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. You must be at least 16 years old to use the app independently and have the legal capacity required in your location. Supper Lab is the operating name used for this release.
What the app provides
Supper Lab provides five offline learning chapters about kitchen chemistry and food-label literacy, interactive teaching simulations, optional ingredient photos and text recognition, sound observations, and a local learning journal. It does not provide professional qualifications, medical advice, allergy clearance, food-safety certification, or laboratory measurement. There are no accounts, ads, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or required cloud services in this release.
Kitchen and allergy safety
Use food-safe materials only. Never taste unknown mixtures, use sealed gas-producing vessels, or perform unsafe heating. An adult handles heat and sharp tools. Never infer food safety, safe storage time, microbial identity, or suitability for a person with an allergy from a photo, an audio recording, indicator color, simulation, or app feedback. Read original labels, check cross-contact risks and utensils, and consult qualified advice where needed. If you are uncertain whether an ingredient is safe for someone, do not serve it to them. Seek emergency help for a suspected serious allergic reaction.
Examples and recognition limits
Labeled examples and simulations are teaching materials, not measurements of your food. OCR may miss allergen words. You are responsible for checking and confirming extracted text against the original packaging. A highlighted word is a possible match; the absence of a highlight is not evidence that an allergen is absent. Audio and timing observations do not diagnose a chemical or biological process. The app does not automatically understand or grade your open-ended reflection.
License and permitted use
Subject to these terms, the publisher grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the app for lawful learning. You may keep and share your own exported experiment records. The app’s original code, stories, illustrations, branding, and course materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Do not redistribute the app, sell its course content as your own, bypass platform security, or use it to violate another person’s rights. Rights granted by applicable law are not restricted.
Your content and privacy
You retain your rights in the photos, recordings, notes, and other content you create. Capture and share only content you are entitled to use, with appropriate consent from people who may be recorded. You are responsible for the contents and destination of any export. Your local content is not automatically uploaded to the publisher. The Privacy Policy explains permissions, local storage, deletion, exports, device backups, and hosted-page requests.
Data, backups, and availability
Save and export important records before uninstalling the app or changing devices. Local records may be lost if the device is lost, erased, damaged, or restored without the relevant backup. Deletion is intended to remove the selected local data and its associated attachments; previously exported, shared, or backed-up copies may remain elsewhere. We cannot recover records we do not hold. Hosted policy pages may be temporarily unavailable; the app may offer bundled copies.
Changes and ending use
You may stop using the app at any time and delete local data or uninstall it. Features and course content may change in future releases. A material change to these terms will be reflected in an updated date and, where required by law, appropriate notice. Updates do not remove any mandatory consumer rights.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and learning content are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, perfect recognition, or fitness for a specific cooking or allergy decision. The publisher is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the learning content or unsafe kitchen practices, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies.
Apple and third-party services
Apple is not a party to these terms and does not provide the app’s learning or support services. Your use of iOS, backups, photo selection, and sharing remains subject to the relevant platform terms. Hosted policy pages use Cloudflare infrastructure. Links to external services are provided for convenience and do not transfer responsibility for their separate practices to Supper Lab.
Legal rights and contact
No specific governing jurisdiction is asserted because the publisher’s legal location has not been supplied. Mandatory laws and consumer protections applicable to you continue to apply. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Operating name: Supper Lab. Publishing contact placeholder: supperlab@support.com. This address has not been verified as monitored and must be replaced by the publisher before it is used as an operational support commitment.
